This last weekend, we traveled north and east from the valley, to escape the heat, get outside and continue James' birthday celebration. A while back I had reserved a house via Airbnb for our family, thinking Noah would be home and we could all soak up time with him. I forgot to check when his last day of school was and as it turns out....he's still in Santa Cruz! That didn't stop our fun though. This cutie little place was our home for the weekend.

We did a whole lot of nothing beyond spending time together. The kids managed to build this stellar clubhouse in the woods.

And we completed a 1000 piece puzzle in almost 24 hours. James was adorable. He would pick up a puzzle piece, find exactly where it goes based off of the box's picture, then place it onto open space on the table, directly in proportion to where it would actually belong in the puzzle. Pretty smart!

The home had the most adorable farmhouse vibe and the upstairs loft area had beds hanging from the ceiling for the kids!

The neighborhood was adorable, centered over a golf course. Our house, in particular set on a rather busy road, which led to some extra noise during the daytime.

Additionally, there was a new home preparing to be built next door, thus the patio area of our home was rather unsightly and not the most relaxing.

Thankfully, the woods behind the house provided an area for the kids to be kids, which is all I wanted.

The link to the #AZstonecabin property in Pinetop, Arizona is HERE. If you could time a visit with snowfall, I bet it would be gorgeous!
