Life gets overwhelming sometimes, but if you know me, you know I will NOT miss out on a chance to make memories with my kids, and that means ALWAYS decorating for holidays. Even if it is minimal. Do I wish I had time to build a pumpkin arch or make some glow ghosts? YES. Heck, I wish I had the time or energy to dig through my storage unit to find the remaining pre-existing Halloween decor! Instead, I peeked in my coat closet and made a quick trip to Trader Joe's and here is how it turned out.

Here is what it looked like before. Plain Jane.

I swiped out the doormat, moved Roger (our Mummy) out of the closet, hung a black wreath and added a few mums and fun pumpkins from Trader Joe's. The result....a perfect for us Halloween front door with very minimal effort.

The doormat I found at the bins discount store here in Arizona. I found a similar one on Amazon linked HERE. Roger, our mummy, was originally purchased a few years back during an after Halloween sale at Home Goods so I am unable to link that. The black wrath is also pretty old but I did find some cute black wreaths on Amazon for around $20. One with feathers, linked HERE, and another made with sticks and bats HERE. The plant stand we have had for some time. Knowing us, Eric found it in someone's bulk trash previously. For this Halloween display, we did spray paint it black from white. Don't look too close as we ran out of spray paint. We grabbed the terra cotta pots from our backyard and simply dropped the mumms in!

Voila...the porch is Halloween certified!
